Today we had a guided tour of Vatican, 16th Chapel, and St. Peter's Square! This was information filled and absolutely beautiful! Do I remember a lot of the information? NO. BUT! I got lots of pictures!

We went to class like usual and then came back to our apartment and made lunch! This was nice because we could drop our backpacks off before going to the Vatican since it's only a 5 minute walk.
For the tour, we all got head sets. Apparently you're supposed to be quite when inside so the tour guides talk through a mic that we hear in our headsets. This was cool and honestly very helpful because sometimes it's hard to hear, especially in big places that echo. Also, I can't really understand them most of the times anyway. The tour guide walked us through the Vatican, pointing out all of the paintings and historical art. It was seriously breath-taking to see everything. I can't because with the limited amount of tools back then that these people were able to create the things that they did. There will be LOTS of pictures in the slideshow below (50+ photos)! Highly recommend looking through all of them because everything was (as lori says) JUST GORGEOUS! The things I liked most were all of the designs and paintings on the ceilings as well as all of the really old statues of people. The tour was 3 hours long and went though lunch. AKA, as many of you know, Hannah was tired-hangry! I only packed 1 snack (silly me).
Note to self: Pack more snacks for the long tours! (duh.)
After the tour, we came back to the apartment and relaxed for a couple of hours till dinner. During that time we all caught up on some homework. Our class leaves for Florence tomorrow morning (Tuesday) at 9am! When we get back Friday, we are leaving again for a fun weekend trip. That being said, we tried to get ahead in some homework so we could just enjoy our time in Florence as well as the weekend.
That was about it for today! The tour drained most of us!
There might be a delay on posting for the week because of Florence! I also started an online class this week too, so I will be juggling the homework for that class as well.
Goodnight!
