Day 12

Today we took a small day trip to the island of Capri! This trip was well needed and very relaxing!

We had an early morning catching a ferry at 7:55am. This ferry was 1 hour and 20 minutes long. Once we got there we walked around a looked at the shops for a bit and then hit the beach! There was not much sand, it was mostly rock, sadly. It was a gorgeous view. The sound of the water was very refreshing. I did see a lot of body parts from locals that I would not have liked to see but. It's all apart of the experience, right?

We headed back home on the ferry around 2:30 and I slept the whole ride there. We went back to our apartment and all showered and packed up because we had to catch a 6:30 train back home to Rome. I apparently did not put my sun screen on as even as I thought, so my burn was a little blotchy. We were all very excited to be 'home'.

Note to self: If you are not coordinated enough to put sun screen on well, ask a friend.
