Today our class went on a bike tour! I thought I was going to die because it was 3 hours, 10 miles long but I survived and had a lot of fun!

It was quite a hike to the tour place so we decided to take a taxi! In Rome, people drive like psychos. I mean crazy people. Im not even exaggerating. Everyday, I almost get hit at least 10 times. The lines on the road are basically a suggestion, they don't even stay between them and the stop lights are basically a suggestions as well sooo you basically walk at your own risk. So, it was interesting to be in the car rather than walking and it was like even worse. The anxiety of watching the driver drive so fast and almost hit people, cars, poles, and whatever else got in their way was nerve-racking.
Note to self: Walking is better, even though your feet feel like they are going to fall off by the end of the day.
The bike tour was really fun! We got to see some of the things we have already seen but in a different angle as well as many new things! My personal favorites were the Trevi fountain and the spanish steps! Obviously because they're in the Lizzie McGuire movie, the best movie from my childhood. I was waiting for a hot italian super star to find me, take me on a vespa ride, sing to me, take me shopping, and then turn me into an international super star. (sorry trey)
Not only did we see famous, historical places but also fun shopping areas! My group was on a mission to see the Versace store and sure enough, it was right by the spanish steps! My entire life savings could maybe buy a mint there but. At least I got to go in and see it all! We also went into Gucci, Chanel, and Prada.
We did go into a church, I cannot remember what it was called though. But it was gorgeous and it had a painting of the confessions of Matthew inside that was very popular. I only got a few pictures because I think a service had just gotten over and it was very busy.
My friends & I decided to have a chill afternoon, just walking around and exploring. We made dinner again tonight. Pesto Pasta I think is my new favorite. Fun fact, Alfredo sauce is 100% american and does not exist in Rome. Which was sad to hear considering it's my favorite. After dinner, we walked around some more and let me tell you, Rome is so beautiful at night. I love all of the lights, the atmosphere, the street performers. My favorite time of day to see the city.
Enjoy all of the pictures from the bike tour!
OH and I cannot forget, Happy Mother Day Mama! Wish you were here! Love & miss you!
