Today I took a cooking class! This was super fun and I recommend doing something like it if you ever go to Rome or even a different foreign country! To see how the food is made and how easy it is to do it on your own is super cool!

We made pasta, ravioli, and tiramisu! The pasta and ravioli were fun to make! We made the dough ourselves and put it through a pasta maker! For the ravioli, we made the spinach stuffing and squeezed like quarter sized dots on the dough and folded them to make the shapes! The dessert was fun to make as well! I didn't know much about tiramisu so it was cool to see how it's made! The cream is made from egg, sugar, whipped cream beaten together. We dipped the sugar bread finger things (not sure what they're called) into coffee and then placed them in a bowl. We created layers of cream, fingers, cream, fingers and then put it in the freezer for over about an hour.

Note to self AND OTHERS: take a cooking class when visiting foreign countries!

We got to each the food we made and it was very rewarding! All tasted very well (obviously because I made it) ;)

Tonight we went to dinner & I got a calzone that was twice the size of my face. We stopped for some dessert on the way home! Any guesses on what the dessert was?
