Today our class went on an art history walking tour. I was not too excited about it because looking at art and learning about history are not my favorite things. But it was still cool! The tour was 3 hours long. We walked a totally of 24,000 steps. If I thought my feet hurt the other days, they sure as heck hurt a lot after today.'

Before the tour we got some lunch. A few of us tried these slushy type things that were very good! Way better than american ones. I also got pasta. Im slowly starting to get tired of eating pasta all of the time, so I may need to start trying some new things.

We saw 5 different historical things. A few different fountains, a church, the Matei family courtyard, a courtyard area that a bunch of old cats lived in, and the Pantheon. I am not quite sure all of the specific names and the details because it was hard to remember it all, but all were very beautiful. It was amazing to hear about the Pantheon and how old it was, dating back to B.C. For the fountains, we learned they were used as public drinking water for people as well as small animals.

We, of course, stopped for gelato on the tour as well. I got chocolate and banana and it was very tasty! Dad, you would've LOVED the banana. Way better than a laffy taffy :)

A few of use decided we wanted to try and save some money, so we bought some food to make our own dinner! We are gonna try to start doing that a couple of times a week. We made pasta (shocker) but it was fun to go to the market and buy all of the supplies and sit and visit!

At night, we all decided to check out the loco bars and clubs! We checked out an ice bar and it was literally a bar made of ice. It was very interesting. We got coats to wear inside and the cups were even made of ice as well. We didn't stay long because it was super cold in there. We checked out a few other local places and then we saw an irish pub so of course we had to stop! Very good time! Great way to start off the weekend!
