Today it was tough getting up. The cobble stone honestly has a huge affect. Today was the worst day for my feet.

Started off the morning the same by walking to class and getting breakfast on the way. We have to walk through many back alleyways when getting there and today we found a really good shop. I saw donuts inside so obviously I had to stop. Let me tell you, this donut was the best donut I have ever had. Like I was surprised at how good it was. Also got another caffe latte and the man offered me some extra super and I was like oh god bless yes please.

Today's destination was the Roman Colosseum! It took about 15-20 minutes for us to walk there from the ISU facility. We stopped along the way at a food truck and got a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. I love the bread. All of the bread I've had is so good. Im gonna need to hit the gym when I get home. (@ trey be ready) We signed up for a guided tour so we met as a class, found our tour guide, and headed in! It was absolutely beautiful. I didn't know much about specific things that occurred there in ancient Rome, so it was cool to hear some of those interesting facts. After touring the Colosseum, my feet were screaming at me. I had also sit a wall. Along the way and while being by the Colosseum, we saw a few other beautiful buildings. One being the Forum as well as the arch of constantine. A couple of us headed back to the apartment to rest our feet and take a break.

We then had group dinner tonight which was fun since usually after class we all go our separate ways. We made the mistake of not being clear about what kind of water we wanted too. That was an unpleasant surprise in my mouth.

Note to self: Always ensure he waiter knows you want natural water.

We order about 5 things from each part of the menu (starter, first course, second course, and dessert) and all split it, taking bites of everything to try new things. It was really fun! We also all shared a few bottles of wine to try new flavors. We basically had our own wine tasting. There were some fried octopus and squid that I was not a huge fan of. Most of the desserts were not very flavorful either but it was still fun to try it!

On our way home we saw a gelato shop sooo of course, we stopped :)
