Day 10

Today we left Florence and my friends and I traveled to Naples for the weekend. We got in around dinner time and checked into our airbnb!

We left for dinner around 5:30 not thinking about the time and realized while we were out that restaurants didn't open for another couple hours. That is something that I have had to adjust to. Lunch time around here isn't till like 1 or 2 and places do not open for dinner till about 7 or 7:30. So that resulted in exploring around the area a little. Which was nice since we had been sitting and traveling a lot the past couple of days. We went into a really old book store that was seriously amazing. I found multiple books that were over a specific book of the bible that went very in depth, describing Paul's letter and purpose. It was amazing. Books with copyrights back to the 1950s. We were there for awhile just looking at books, old postcards, calendars, and whatever they had.

Note to self: Always remember to check when restaurants open before going out for dinner.

Our taxi driver recommended a few restaurants for us to visit, so we hit up Gino's Sorbillo! This place is apparently the best place to get pizza and it extremely popular. I saw on the walls that multiple cookie shows/critiques have been there. The store opened at 7 and by 6:15 when we walked by, there was already a line forming! So we jumped in line! We got in no problem and got a table! I ordered a margarita pizza, A WHOLE PIZZA, for 4 euros. I was shocked. And the pizza was absolutely delicious!

After dinner we went home and caught up on homework and discussed weekend plans! We went to bed at a decent time to be ready for our busy day tomorrow!
